Event Overview
Your group will be split into teams and sent to different meeting rooms and handed a letter...
The letter will state that the team can buy into this 'Opportunity of a Life Time' for the very small investment of £500,000.00. And what is this opportunity? Well the chance to be involved in the design and building of the first transport bridge to link the mainland with the Isle of Wight! Not only do you get this great 'Opportunity of a Life Time' but you also get a guaranteed return of over 300% on your investment...!
The teams will have the chance to participate in three get rich quick schemes to help raise the funds fast. The teams must decide the best way to go forward and raise the maximum amount of funds in the allotted time to bank roll their ?Opportunity of a Life Time?.
Event Details
Example Schemes:
1. The Rib Treasure Hunt - The teams will head out of the hotel and board their Rib, which will then take them up the Beaulieu River and onto the Solent, where they will have to chase around finding the Buoys, set locations and answers to the questions. Along the way they will have to take set pictures and collect certain items.
2. The Cycling Treasure Hunt - The teams will head out to the garden of the hotel and collect their bikes and head off along the beautiful quiet country lanes. Along the way they will have to answer the questions take their pictures and find unusual items ranging from a horse shoe to yesterday?s paper.
3. The Puzzles - The teams will be given a special delivery package consisting of word puzzles, wooden build puzzles and brain teasers. After an hour the teams will be given a brief, detailing the build requirements for the transport bridge.
The Twist:
During the course of the event the teams may well given information that completely changes the parameters!
The Finale:
Once all of the teams have returned they will have their scores totalled and advised what funds they have raised. Based on this they will then be given the build equipment.
It is then the job of the team members to complete their construction in the allotted time.
Finally once construction has been completed the vehicle must cross the bridge?!
