MUERTE ESPAÑA:

The exclusive Playa de Musica resort on Spain’s Costa Fortuna is holding a social evening for tourists to view the facilities etc. in the hope that they will buy a timeshare or a villa. Our hosts are the ‘camp’ manager / entertainer, Jack Potts & his right hand woman, Phyllis Boots, a girl with a shady past.

The hosts are organizing entertainment including karaoke & a quiz later in the evening but during pre dinner drinks they circulate to sell the benefits of the resort.

Into this friendly atmosphere is thrust the Banks Gang. The boss, Robin Banks is married to Phyllis & having just pulled off a daring robbery in the UK has fled to the Costa Fortuna to evade capture.

With many secrets in their past & the surprise appearance of an upset purchaser the evening leads ultimately to accusations, recriminations & murder!

CLUEDO:

We have all played the board game. Families & friends alike gathered around the table trying to solve the dastardly murder of Dr. Black. But then an actual murder really happens. Dr. Black dies in your presence.

How can this have happened? Who could have carried out such an act? How & where was it done? All of these questions must be answered by you.

The usual suspects are present, Mrs. White, Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlet, Rev. Green, Mrs. Peacock & Professor Plum. It will be up to you to ascertain their motives & ultimately decide ‘Who done it?’

MURDER AT THE VICARAGE:

You are all invited to the annual charity fundraising evening being held in the vicarage where the local vicar, Rev. Trew N Good is endeavouring to collect funds for a new church steeple. ( It is a Norman church! )

An auction is being held with various village characters being in attendance to provide the lots for the auction & hopefully give generously when the bidding starts. But all is not as it seems in this quiet sleepy English country village.

Murder is afoot. The vicar has enemies & it is not long into the proceedings when a death occurs.

The bidding stops, the auction is on hold & there is a murder to unravel.

Who wanted the vicar dead?

Who had the motive?

In conjunction with the clues available to you, you will have to solve this crime before any more deaths occur.

EGGHEADS:

The Eggheads are gathered for their annual puzzle fest. You are invited to their dinner where the members of the secret puzzle / quiz society ‘Enigma’ await the results of the various categories:

Quizzer of the year
Puzzler of the year
Member of the year

The evening commences with the usual round of challenges, club members vying for the prestigious prize to end all prizes, ‘Gamer of the Year’, the title being held by the current club chairman, I. A. M. Quick. He is a ruthless gamer whose motto is ‘win at any cost’.

At the outset all are cheerful & nice but as the evening progresses it becomes obvious that some members will stop at nothing to succeed, but who is prepared to kill?

The outgoing ‘Gamer of the Year’, I. A. M. Quick & the most likely to retain his title subsequently dies. You must take on the challenge to investigate the case, collect clues & interrogate the suspects.

However unlike Cluedo, unlike 22B Baker St. this is real life & murder is afoot. This is going to be the hardest puzzle yet for the Eggheads to solve. They will need your help!

REUNIONS CAN BE MURDER:

Forget Facebook, forget Friends Reunited, this is totally eighties as you reunite with the class of ’85.

It has been 20 years since you & your guests left the Hallowed Halls of the Willy Makit 6th Form College. That’s 20 years for grudges to be held & jealousy & hatred to fester. This will be the reunion to remember as you bring together all your class mates to see how they have done.

From the bored housewife to the entrepreneur who has made millions, the drama queen gone to Hollywood to the power crazed pundit who still won’t let anyone top them.

There’s not a soul that will want to miss this reunion.

Just one who won’t live to tell about it!

FRIDAY 12TH:

You are invited to the launch of a blockbusting horror movie. The movie is going to make a lot of people a lot of money & where there’s money there’s murder.

The producer is there, his Scicilian financier, an actress who is in line for the lead role in the sequel, scriptwriter & other hanger ons.

You will witness the auditions for the various roles, the bitchiness of the actresses, the jealousies of others & the lengths that some will go to get a slice of the action.

A mad writer, drug crazed prima donna, Mafia connections all make this a horror packed evening fitting of the film being made, Friday 12th.

LICENCED TO KILL:

Commander Bond, find the killer & uncover the traitor, your country is relying on you.

‘M’ is furious, security breached, a close ally dead on the floor, what will be next?
All of you must pool your resources to find out who the killer is.

The suspects will all be available for interrogation. The killer must be found.
No-one is above suspicion. ‘M’, explosives expert, Stan Wellback, leading government scientist, Gene Yuss or the infamous undercover agent, Oliver Sudden.

An international incident must be avoided at all costs. Your challenge, should you choose to accept it will be to bring the killer to justice, at any cost. No-one in the room is beyond suspicion.

THE DATING GAME:

Bill fold is the owner & MD of Excelsior Cybersuitor Introductions, Bliss House, Lovers Lane, Hartford & this evening, he has invited couples that have met through his dating agency to gather @ the hotel for an informal evening.

Unfortunately all is not roses in the love stakes. Not all those gathered are the blissfully happy couples that Bill imagined.

Valentine Flowers & the wife he met through the agency are there. Valentines P R agency has fallen upon hard times & he cannot keep his spendthrift wife, Polly Ester, her stage name, in the life to which she has become accustomed. She also has a penchant for younger men!

Hugh Next, a bitter & twisted man is an uninvited guest who blames the agency for finding him a totally unsuitable bride, the match resulting in a bitter & costly divorce. Is he out for revenge?

Finally Gail Force, an impressionable young lady who met her fiancé Lord Rauls, through the agency is present. Is her past about to catch up with her?

This mix of clientele does not appear to make for an evening of peace, love & harmony. Can murder be the only way to bring closure to this date!

Overview:

Our murder mystery events are ideal for some light hearted entertainment after a hard day’s conference & of course they are also a way of incorporating a degree of teambuilding into a fun activity.

In addition we can also provide for your company either ½ day or all day murder mystery activities incorporating a treasure hunt as well, where the suspects have to be found by the teams, challenges completed & clues obtained en route. Transport for this type of event can include bicycles, people movers, boat, on foot or indeed any form of transport that you require.

The clues, the evidence, the suspects are there but who really committed the crime? An ideal form of evening or weekend entertainment. Help Inspector Clu D’Eau solve a hilarious, action packed murder enquiry.

The plot can incorporate one of our own proven scripts or of course we can create a script for you.

Why not enhance the evening by entering into the spirit by wearing something mysterious. We can even incorporate a role for you or your colleagues to have an active part.

As the plot thickens, use the incident room to question & accuse the suspects. Do the clues fit? Were your hunches correct? At the end of the evening there is a chance for everyone to reveal their conclusions & share their humorous insights about the clues that gave the plot away.

In addition we take great pride in our murder mystery weekends. Every weekend event incorporates a new script. The event starts on a Friday evening when the characters mingle with you & various personality traits begin to appear. Murder is afoot! We continue @ breakfast the following morning when the surviving members of the cast are available for questioning. There is then a period of free time before we all meet up again in the afternoon to take part in a treasure hunt resulting in the suspects being found @ various locations, challenges completed & for the successful teams, clues will be their reward. During the Saturday evening various scenarios are acted out, the suspects questioned & finally verdict forms completed with a view to ascertaining the identity of the murderer, motive & how on earth it was done.
