Generation Game
Event Overview
You have seen the TV show now take part in our very own version of the Generation Game.
Why not mix and match the event or leave it up to us to put together a great mix of challenges.
Outlined below are a few ideas for your event.
Event Details
Morris Dancing
Our eccentric dancer ‘Morris’ will provide you with sticks, music & a demonstration of our national dance.
Take to the floor, swing those sticks, lift up your feet & let’s dance.
Points will be awarded for the teams showing finesse, style & the ability to stick without injuring the other dancers!
What’s in the bag?
Bags are passed around the teams & each member has to place a hand within & guess what is concealed inside the bag, without the advantage of sight. All is done by touch alone.
Are you squeamish?
Are you brave enough?
Can you put your hand into the unknown & survive?
(No live animals are harmed during the playing of this game!)
Crazy Golf
The teams are asked to show off their golfing skills.
Each team is given an outsize golf club & ball. A demonstration will be given as to how to handle the club correctly & then within a limited time period teams will be allocated points based on their ability to score, birdies, eagles & of course we are looking for a hole in one!
Giant Jenga
Teams are provided with Giant Jenga building blocks & a demonstration on construction techniques. Within a limited time period the teams will have to compete against each other to see who can construct the highest structure before a total collapse occurs. This is great fun, very competitive & not for the faint hearted.
Lock in that drink
Each team will receive a tray of pre prepared soft drinks, all of which have been disguised by the addition of strange colouring & flavours. The object of this game is to ascertain just how sensitive your taste buds are. Once the tasting has been completed the teams will then be required to name the drinks. This is a fun game that does require each team to work together in order to ‘Name that Drink’
Blindfold tent construction
The teams each receive a tent to build. They are given a basic demonstration on the skills required to complete the construction of the tent before being advised that the members doing the building will be blindfolded. The team members that are blindfolded will be relying solely upon the directions being given by their colleagues that have the benefit of sight. This is a hilarious game that requires trust, good hearing & a sense of humour.
The conveyor belt
Of course no generation game is complete without the ‘conveyor belt’ challenge.
As a finale to the event a number of ordinary household items will be paraded in front of the teams. Once the items have all passed by, the teams will then be given 2 minutes to write down all of the items that they can remember including of course, the cuddly toy!
