Event Details
Background: In 1897 whilst working on an excavation in Venice, I came across a tomb that was filled with many mysterious items; however, the greatest of these was a pile of wooden artifacts and a set of what appeared to be chimes. The artifacts so captivated me that I smuggled them out of the country and brought them back to my ancestral home.
At first I was unsure exactly what these were and meant, however, after three and a half years of painstaking research I concluded that these must be the Lost Chimes of Da Vinci.
Myth has it that the chimes were built in 1503 by Leonardo da Vinci and it is claimed the chimes play the music of God himself.
Unfortunately, the skills to build and play the chimes have been long lost and to this day they have been left collecting dust in boxes with no one ever being able to rebuild them (many have tried, but failed)
During the restoration of St Nicolas Church a strange coded message was found, at first experts were baffled as to its meaning; then after weeks of research it was agreed that this was a clue to the destination of plans for the construction and playing of the Da Vinci Chimes! However, as good as these experts were, none could crack the code.
